Hello everyone. We have the most state of the art, hi-tech repeater system in New England, perhaps the country. We are the only club with a system where you can tune to one frequency, one PL, and drive from south central Maine all the way to the North Shore area in Massachusetts. You don't have to pause the conversation to change frequencies because you are out of range of the repeater link you are on. You can talk throughout the entire trip with a clean clear signal throughout with very few exceptions. We are fortunate here in Maine to have such great two meter communications capability. So my question is, WHERE IS EVERYBODY! I was talking to AI2Q today and we were discussing the inactivity on the repeaters of late. I know I myself have been occupied with Echolink and other things but I plan on parking my rig on 210 a lot more. AI2Q has the repeater on all the time when he is driving and he throws out his call only to hear Simon and Garfunkle singing "The Sound of Silence." Let's get on and enjoy this great technology. Bob and his crew are working tirelessly to give us this network and we need to use it.
